Studio Practice 1B: Task Sheet 1: Putting MY subject in context

What were the aims of this activity?

I wanted to shoot a few different people to put eyes in context with an activity where the eyes are essential e.g in reading or accuracy/aim and just in general context of the place or person. The aim was mainly to put them into context rather than just shooting them in a studio.

What have I got from doing this?

I feel as though this way of shooting is definitely better for my project and really gives depth to an image and the eyes themselves as it gives them a focus, a reason, and a context! It also pushes me as a photographer in my approach to people and more confidence in asking them to e.g read a book and try to shoot them naturally.

Did I fulfil my aims?

I feel as though I did fulfil my aims and it inspires me to shoot in this way in future.
